Create your first AI film with Muse and Onkagu

Describe an idea in Muse, approve the story and its cover, then review how production is funded. Onkagu builds your film progressively and keeps the work in your account.

Before you begin, connect Muse to Onkagu and check that Muse can access the intended account.

1. Give Muse a starting point

Start with “Make me a movie” and ask Muse to help find an idea. If you already have one, describe the main character, what happens, and the mood. A few clear sentences are enough to begin.

An example starting prompt

“Make a mystery about an adult bookseller who finds a letter addressed to tomorrow. Use a warm hand-drawn style, English narration, and a horizontal 16:9 format. Start with a short opening. Show me the story before production.”

Tell Muse your preferences early. The film setup supports English, French, or Spanish and horizontal 16:9 or vertical 9:16. You can ask for narration or no voices. Muse productions currently use first-person voice-over rather than lip-synced character dialogue. Use material you have permission to use, and avoid sensitive personal information in prompts.

2. Approve the story, then the cover

For a new film, Muse first presents a short synopsis. Read it and approve the story or ask for another proposal. Check the premise, main character, mood, and format before moving on.

After your story approval, Muse prepares any missing character portraits and reference sheets before creating the cover. If a sheet is based on a photo you supplied, review and accept it first. This reference preparation happens privately, before production funding.

Once the required references are ready, Muse prepares the cover. Review that image and approve it separately. Requesting another cover at this stage keeps the approved story. Regeneration allowances can be limited, so check the current offer before asking for more versions.

Production funding comes after the story and cover approvals.

3. Review the allowance and budget

Ask Muse to check your current free allowance before arranging paid production. Availability depends on account verification and usage. Check Account for the current allowance, any verification step, and when it becomes available again. Complete verification on Onkagu rather than sharing verification details in chat.

For paid production, review the quoted amount and choose a spending cap from your Onkagu balance or payment for each block. A spending cap and your available balance are separate: setting a cap does not add money. Review any required top-up before approving it. Current prices and account limits shown during the flow take precedence over examples.

4. Follow production and resume the same film

Onkagu develops new films one shot at a time, using accepted footage to guide what comes next. Onkagu advances production on its servers; Muse supplies the image, video and review steps requested by the current production. You do not need to approve every finished shot, although Muse may require permissions for particular actions.

A first block is an opening you can continue. Production time varies; quotas, permissions, or unfinished steps can pause progress. If it stops, ask Muse to check and resume the same film before starting another purchase. Accepted shots remain available when a later shot fails.

If production pauses

“Check the status of this film and what remains. Resume the existing project when possible, and tell me if you need a new payment approval.”

5. Watch your delivery

Once the requested block is validated and assembled, open your film from the delivery in Muse or in My films on Onkagu. Check the delivered runtime and any delivery notes before continuing the story.

Your film stays private until you choose to share it. If you want to publish an eligible completed delivery, review the sharing controls in My Store. Making a film does not require publishing it.
